Hello,

My name is Gaspard Marissiaux and I am 18 years old.

In June, I graduated with a CESS degree, general section, in Belgium (equivalent to the Baccalaureate in France).
Since I haven't yet found the studies that would truly inspire me in the future, I have made the decision to take a year to explore new horizons.

I've decided to give Workaway a try to step out of my comfort zone, embark on an adventure, and most importantly, meet new people!

Those around me describe me as a sociable and enthusiastic individual. During my free time, I love engaging in sports in nature (Mountain Biking, Trail Running, ...). I believe that the joy I find in being outdoors and active motivated me to not immediately start my studies, despite it being the "norm" in Belgium. Additionally, I work as a student in a retirement home and I am a leader in my regional Scout unit. I also strive to be mindful (to the extent possible) of my ecological footprint.

I am young and dynamic, bursting with energy! When it comes to manual work, I have a basic understanding from renovating a farm with the Scouts. As for the rest, I would be delighted to learn new skills. I am also adept at entertaining children, thanks to my experience as a scout leader.
