What motivates me and brings happiness is travelling. I want to see the world and the hidden beauties of the planet.
We’ve been put on this planet for a reason and I want to see it!!!
I love the outdoors, my dad is a gardener and works with tree surveying companies so ever since I was little I have been helping him with taking care of the garden and the outdoors. I love diy, nothing more satisfying than creating something completely new out of something you don't need anymore, so would be more than happy to get stuck in with any projects around. I have a kind nature, and love getting to know new people and experiencing their way of life and culture.
I have done a lot of work in cafes, bars, restaurants etc, so talking to new people, welcoming them and making people feel at ease comes naturally to me.
I also make great coffee and am a good helper in the kitchen :)

I grew up in Cornwall and have lived there for 18 years now, so have been surrounded by coast and the beautiful sea !
From when I was little I have been a strong swimmer and love wild swimming.
I am a very hands on person and am good at picking up things and learning new skills, I would love to learn more skills along the way !!!
While travelling I love to see new places, meet new people and experience different cultures and how other people live.
I am very down to earth and a practical quick thinker. I can also be a natural leader so in certain situations can be assertive and confident where I need to be, this is an essential skill I feel when travelling. I'm a good team player and thrive on social connections and am a very natural communicator.
Growing up I have travelled with my family which has installed in me the desire to explore and experience new cultures. I'm energetic and enthusiastic with a natural problem solving ability. Working in a very busy pub and restaurant for the last three years has made me a multi tasker and resilient, and these skills adapt into everyday life. working in hospitality gave me the experiences and skills to be able to take on any jobs where I need communicate with people, I am at ease when talking to people and have no problem communicating. I am currently learning Spanish and would love to develop this.

I am good at working in teams and working with people but also just as comfortable to be left to do something by myself, I am travelling solo hoping to meet and link up with different people from all over the world, getting to know them and creating relationships with them.

I worked around 20 hours a week in exchange for food during shift and a room in a really nice spacious house and also moped rent all covered.
I really loved my time at ice, I was solo travelling Sri Lanka at the time and volunteering here gave me the opportunity to meet so many lovely people!
