Hello,
My name is Frédy, I am Swiss, speak French, English and German, I am an engineer.
My children are adults, my partner is temporarily unavailable for a long-term trip and I am just retired.
Having done a technocratic job for a long time, in an office, I am now looking for some travel and activities that really make sense, also in terms of environment ! Workaway seems to be a good starting point.
I traveled quite a lot. I am fit and active (hiking, swimming, skiing, fitness, biking, yoga) while remaining curious culturally. I am very sociable and bind easily. Contact, exchanges and sharing are my engine. According to my partner, I put a veil of benevolence on life, people and the world.

Je m’appelle Frédy, je suis Suisse, parle français, anglais, allemand, et suis ingénieur de formation.
Mes enfants sont adultes, ma compagne est momentanément indisponible pour un voyage de longue durée et moi fraichement retraité.
Ayant longtemps effectué un travail technocratique, dans des bureaux, je suis maintenant à la recherche d’activités ayant véritablement du sens, environnementalement parlant aussi ! Workaway me semble être une bonne porte d’entrée.
J’ai pas mal bourlingué. Je suis en forme et très actif physiquement (randonnée, natation, ski, fitness, vélo, yoga) tout en restant curieux culturellement. Je suis très sociable et lie facilement. Le contact, les échanges et le partage sont mon moteur. Selon ma compagne, je pose un voile de bienveillance sur la vie, les gens, le monde.

My environment was very stimulating (being surrounded by young people, getting to know an artist in residence, riding a scooter from one side of the coast of Keelung to the other to take videos, learning the tools for making a Tiktok reel) but also, at the same time, very relaxed. I just spent a great time with Hide and his family. Beautiful remote location, interesting projects, easy communication, work adapted to helpers, interesting discussions, use of vehicule for nearby visits, and a wonderful family. What more to ask for ? Thank you so much and see you again sometime.

The experience was great and unforgettable.

The nuns were not present during my stay (I knew it), but a monk stayed a few days on the site.
