Hi! Let me introduce myself,

my name is Francesco Di Clemente, I'm a Workaweyer and an Italian student at the Faculty of Philosophy in Rome.
Among my passions, travel has always been of great importance.

In the past years, I have had the opportunity to use the months of school holidays to do voluntary work around the world, such as: the Philippines, Brazil, Amazonia and India.
I had the opportunity to work on social revaluation projects in places where I deepened human contact with practical but also inter-human actions: teaching after-school activities for children (Mumbai), helping in a social carpentry workshop (Philippines), social connection project with indigenous families (Amazonia), organising events in difficult places (Brazil).

Besides travelling, I have cultivated and am still cultivating hobbies in my life. I play the Sax and I'm part of an orchestra. I play chess. Read Philosophy texts. I practise Japanese disciplines such as Kendo, Iaido and Zazen meditation. I practice skiing and trekking in the mountains.

I lived for a year in Seville, Spain.
I speak Italian (my native language), Spanish, English and I comprehend Portuguese.

A big revolution in my life has been walking, which led me to do the 'El Camino de Santiago de Compostela' in Spain and the 'Kungsladen' in Sweden, very strong experiences where your self comes into contact with so many realities.
I joined Workaway to look for new experiences, including work, to be able to pay for my Master's degree in "Spatial Policies and Institutions" for next year.
