Hi!
My name is Florian, I´m 23 years old and I am from Austria. I am currently at university finishing up my bachelor's degree in teacher education for the subjects Geography and economic education and English. For this fall (2024) I plan on going to an english-speaking country to practice and improve my English skills as well as gaining memories for my life.

I would consider myself very easygoing and kind. I would love to chat about anything and everything but also enjoy being on my own and doing little adventures by myself. Naturally, as a future teacher I love to work and be with children. I am extremely good at meeting them eye-to-eye and respecting their wishes and views. For anybody willing to take me into their home, I am absolutely sure that you will not regret it and we can have a great time together.

My skillset is very broad. I can basically do any housework if that's cooking, ironing or hoovering, etc.
I'm very outgoing so I would love to explore the local area of your home and find new favourite places :)

As I´m in teacher education, I think my strengths lie in working with children and teenagers, but generally I'm willing to do many things that have to do with working around the house. One of my greatest assets is that I am very tidy and will do almost anything very thoroughly.

I love to play games with friends and family. I also love to read in English and German. In my spare time I play football and pickleball (a relatively new sport). If I have time I also like to watch football and cheer on my team, Tottenham :)

Flo was a very kind and down to earth guy and it was really nice hanging out with him at the beginning of the New Year. Edel and Luke were very kind hosts. I stayed with them for 12 days and I had a lovely time exploring cold Donegal. Instructions were always very clear and I felt like a valuable part of the house. Florian was an excellent Work Away. He was so easy to get along with and we had a great time together.
Florian worked so hard at clearing and chopping wood. He prepared a excellent wood pile for us.

I had the most amazing stay at the old mill with Barbara and Georg! They are incredibly kind people and I feel very lucky to have had the chance to live with them during my trip. Their warmth and openness made me feel like part of the family and I will always look back on this month very fondly.

Florian was an easy work away to have around , really gentle and respectful in his manner. He helped us in many ways , in the garden , with our dog , building bits , playing with our daughter and general housework. We would highly recommend him to any future host

I stayed with Miriam and Robin for two weeks and I felt very welcome throughout. My jobs included physical work like concreting but also gardening work like weeding and mulching. Although the days were starting to get quite short, I tried my best to explore the area in my free time.

Florian spent 2 weeks with us in November. He proved very helpful in creating concrete walkways around my new Polyhouse. His second week was spent doing typical autumn jobs... leaf collecting, mulching the garden beds and digging up the tender exotics to be moved to their Winter storage.
