Hi! My name is Florencia and I'm a thirty-two-year-old girl from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I graduated as an Interior Designer and trained to be a Ceramicist. I'm going to travel around Europe for a few months and, since I come from an Italian family, I'm interested in travelling mainly around Italy. I would love to learn more about my Italian roots and customs, get to know the local people and their traditions.
I really enjoy life outdoors, not only by observing nature but also doing sports, such as walking, swimming and cycling. Besides, I prefer to practice a healthy living, based on good eating and doing exercise. I like gardening at home but, as I live in a big city, my yard isn't very big. That's why I would like to take the most of this trip and keep on learning about organic agriculture and permaculture.
I love cooking for my family and friends and I think this could be a perfect opportunity to learn and exchange new recipes with local people. Since I'm really excited about meeting people from other cultures, the tourism sector (especially agritourism) would be an amazing area for me.

In 2020 I started studying pottery. It began as a hobby, but I enjoyed it so much that I started up my own ceramic project, which you can explore on Instagram as @folia.ceramica. The starting point to begin studying this art was the fact that it generates a lower impact on the environment and makes possible the replacement of other materials, such as plastic. I love the fact that many elements of nature can be taken advantage of, such as the earth itself, ashes, wood remains among others. I would love to teach you what I have learnt so far about this trade, or collaborate with you in case you work in this area.

As an interior designer, I'm also really enthusiastic about furniture design and woodworking, so I took a basic course in carpentry and another one focused on furniture history and design. In addition to that, I'm keen on craftwork, painting, and also DIY activities. Therefore I could give you a helping hand with maintenance and designing or redecorating spaces.

To sum up, I would like to mention that I can help you cook and it would be also great for me to teach you or help you improve your Spanish, my native language. I'm a very tidy and clean person so I would be pleased to lend you a hand with organising and maintaining your building and the garden.
