Description
Hi, we are Lea(23F) and Florian(25M), a couple from Germany, that just finished their Bachelor's and are now using the opportunity to travel around Southeast Asia.
Since we only scrape the surface of what a country has to offer, when we travel around as tourists, we want to volunteer in the countries, that we visit, in the hope that we can get to know the country on a deeper level. We would encounter people with totally different backgrounds to ours, participate in work that we are not used to and experience a way of life, that we don't have in Germany. I (Florian) enjoy physical labour, rural areas and nature. Also I can appreciate living self sustaining and cooking. I (Lea) have a big heart for children and animals. Any kind of work related to either of the two would make me very happy. With my bachelor's in environmental science I like any project that has to do with sustainability. I am also a very keen language learner (I speak French, Italian, English and German) and would be happy to teach any of those.

We both gained experience through several internships on a farm and forrestry. There we learned how to build fences, milk cows, clean stalls and lead kettle. As well as planting and harvesting vegetables.

Originally I was only going to stay for 3 weeks, but I am very glad I stayed a week longer!

When I arrived I was informed, that school holidays had just started and would nearly last the entirety of my stay.
This bummed me out the beginning and I was a little frustrated, that I wasn't informed beforehand, especially, since I was sitting in the office for the majority of the first few days. Luckily we then… read more

At first, we were not sure, whether we would stay 2 or 3 weeks, but at the end we were very happy, to have stayed a week longer. Rosaria and especially Daniel were very welcoming and friendly. They always provided us with good food and although we didn't speak the same languages it was always… read more
