Description
Hello Workaway Community,
We are Flo and Aurelia. We both live in Vienna, where we study Environmental and Bioresource Management at BOKU University—that’s also where we met!
Last summer, after knowing each other for only three months, we decided to go on a two-week road trip to Norway together. It was a fun way to test our new relationship, and we passed with flying colors! Now, after five months together, we are excited to continue adventuring and exploring the world side by side.
We are both passionate about sustainability, eager to learn new skills, and love connecting with people from different cultures. We look forward to new experiences, meaningful exchanges, and lending a helping hand wherever we go.

More details about your skills
Aurelia:
Due to my Waldorf education, I have experience working with various materials, including wood, clay, metal, and stone. I have practiced traditional crafts such as woodworking, metalwork, basket making, bookbinding, and stone carving. I have also worked on farms and have experience caring for animals, including milking both cows and goats and handling various livestock. Additionally, I have worked in the fields, assisting with planting, weeding, and harvesting.
I have also volunteered in two places in Spain. There, I helped with gardening tasks such as pruning bushes and olive trees. Additionally, I worked in a hostel, maintaining clean rooms for guests and serving in the bar and restaurant.
Flo:
I grew up on my family’s farm, where I was actively involved from a young age. I helped with planting and harvesting crops such as potatoes and worked in the forest cutting wood. I also have experience driving tractors and performing fieldwork. Alongside farming, my family kept horses for carriage driving, and I helped care for them. I also assisted with small furniture restoration projects.
Through my education at a technical school for mechanical engineering, I gained knowledge about machines and metalwork. I learned how to calculate machine components and took practical courses in milling and turning.
Together, we are both studying Environmental Science (Aurelia – Bachelor’s, Flo – Master’s), where we are deepening our knowledge of sustainability across various fields.
