Somos Felipe y Constanza, una pareja de jóvenes viajeros chilenos. Renunciamos a nuestros trabajos en Chile para comenzar a vivir nuestro sueño y comenzar una nueva vida viajera por el mundo.

Description

We are Felipe and Constanza, a couple of young Chilean travelers. In 2022 we quit our jobs in Chile (Constanza, nurse, Felipe, lawyer) to start to live our dream and project of changing our routine lifestyle and a have new life traveling the world, for which we chose as our first destination Europe. After 1 year and 5 months of working in Portugal (farm, yacht, kitchen, cleaning, hotel, bartender) and traveling around Europe, we are preparing for our next destination: Australia.

After very good experiences as volunteers in Workaway, we are looking forward to continue learning and contributing with our work and enthusiasm in every place we can, and very motivated with this new stage in Australia. We both already have our WH visa so we are ready to start!

We can do garden work, care and maintenance of houses and gardens, farm work, care of animals and pets (we love them!!), hospitality, housekeeping, help with child care, and customer service. We also really like photography and music, so we can also contribute with these skills.

El año 2022 renunciamos a nuestros trabajos en Chile (Constanza, enfermera, Felipe, abogado) para comenzar a vivir nuestro sueño y proyecto de cambiar nuestro estilo de vida rutinario y comenzar una nueva vida viajera por el mundo, para lo cual elegimos como primer destino Europa. Luego de 1 año y 5 meses de haber trabajado en Portugal (farm, yate, cocina, cleaning, hotelería, bar tender) y viajado por Europa, nos preparamos para nuestro próximo destino: Australia.

Luego de muy buenas experiencias como voluntarios en Workaway, estamos con muchas ganas de seguir conociendo y aportando con nuestro trabajo y entusiasmo en cada lugar que podamos, y muy motivados con esta nueva etapa en Australia. Ambos ya tenemos nuestra visa por lo que estamos listos para comenzar!

Podemos hacer trabajos de jardinería, cuidado y mantención de casas y jardines, trabajos de granja, cuidado de animales y mascotas (nos encantan!!), hotelería, housekeeping, ayudar en el cuidado de niños, y servicio al cliente. Además nos gusta mucho la fotografía y la música, por lo que podemos aportar también con estas habilidades.

Felipe:
In Chile I am a lawyer. I have experience in customer service and hospitality, previously working as a receptionist in a hotel in Porto, Portugal, and as a volunteer in a backpackers hostel in South Africa, doing housekeeping and reception tasks, and organizing activities and events. It was an incredible experience where I was able to share with people from all over the world. I have also worked as a waiter in restaurants in South Africa and Chile, as a volunteer in a farm in Portugal, and as a cooker aboard a yacht. I really like water sports, especially diving (I have an openwater diver license), and I am very interested in surfing in Australia. I really like music and playing instruments (mainly the guitar).

Constanza:
I have been working as a nurse in Chile for approximately 4 years, with patients of all ages, so I have experience caring for and helping people, accompanying them at all times, both the patient and their family. I have made many courses related to the health area (advanced treatments, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, infections, etc.). Working in the health area has allowed me to develop various skills, both personal (empathy, teamwork, communication...), and in management. I have previously worked as a babysitter in my country, doing housekeeping tasks in hotels in Porto, Portugal, and aboard a yacht. I love children and animals, I can take good care of them, and I really like photography.I know how to drive and I have a driver's license.

We consider that the most important thing is enthusiasm, good disposition, and above all sharing experiences, so if there is something we do not know but we can learn, we will be happy to help with whatever is needed.

Felipe:
En Chile soy abogado. Tengo experiencia en atención a clientes y hotelería, trabajando anteriormente como recepcionista en un hotel en Porto, Portugal, y como voluntario en un hostal de viajeros en Sudáfrica, realizando labores limpieza y recepción de huéspedes, y organizando actividades y eventos. Fue una experiencia increíble donde pude compartir con personas de todo el mundo. He trabajado también como mesero en restaurantes de Sudáfrica y Chile, como voluntario en una granja en Portugal, y como cocinero a bordo de un yate. Me gustan muchísimo los deportes acuáticos, sobretodo bucear (tengo licencia openwater diver), y estoy muy interesado en practicar surf en Australia. Me gusta mucho la música, y tocar instrumentos (principalmente la guitarra).

Constanza:
Estuve trabajando de enfermera en Chile por aproximadamente 4 años, con pacientes de todas las edades, por lo que tengo experiencia cuidando y ayudando a las personas, acompañándolas en todo momento, tanto al paciente como a su familia. Tengo varios cursos ligados al área de salud (curaciones avanzadas, reanimación cardiopulmonar, infecciones, etc.). Trabajar en el área de salud me ha permitido desarrollar diversas habilidades, tanto personales (empatía, trabajo en equipo, comunicación..), como en gestión. Me gusta mucho la fotografía y puedo hacer buenas fotos con mi cámara. He trabajado anteriormente como babysitter en mi país, en labores de housekeeping en hoteles y yate, y como voluntaria en granja. Me encantan los niños y animales, puedo cuidar muy bien de ellos. Sé conducir y tengo licencia de conductor.

Consideramos que lo más importante es el entusiasmo, buena disposición, y por sobretodo el compartir experiencias, por lo que si hay algo que no sabemos pero que podemos aprender, de todas maneras estaremos felices de ayudar en lo que se pueda necesitar.
