Hello!
My name is Felix; I am undertaking a year working visa in Italy starting in September 2025 and I am starting this adventure with basically the sole goal of seeing and experiencing as much of this beautiful country as I can in the 12 months I have.
My mother's side of the family leads back to Italy several generations ago with no surviving connections that we know of, and I have lived in Australia all my life being told stories of this incredible place, and so I have decided to venture out and experience it for myself.
I am a hard worker and can operate as a pretty independent person most days, but I do love a yarn and am always happy to meet new people and can work well in a group or team setting as well. I love learning new skills and knowledge and my biggest goal for my trip is to become as fluent as I can in Italian, and any help along the way would be much appreciated.

I like to think I am quick learner and someone who is always willing to give it a go and adapt to new environments.
I am a clean and neat person who is always happy to help out in the kitchen with both cooking and cleaning.
The job I left in Australia was an aquatic facility operator role which required a wide range of skills and technical knowledge, from mechanical maintenance and chemical handling to regular handyman jobs around the centre.
I am good with a wrench as well as a drill and am mechanically minded enough to help out in a garage.
I also have experience landscaping and rose pruning and love to get my hands dirty in the garden.
I’ve held roles over the years heavily involving hospitality as well and have developed excellent customer service and conflict management skills.
Finally, I am a respectful and honest worker and like to think I can get along with pretty much anyone.

I am an outgoing person who loves a laugh and hanging out with friends. I love anything with an engine and can talk about cars/planes/motorcycles until the cows come home. I enjoy a wide range of fun from a drink on a Saturday to a hike on the Sunday and am always willing to pick up a new interest or hobby.
