Hello, nice to meet you! We're 2 nerds that went to school for environmental science in Canada and are now escaping winter to get to know the beautiful Guatemala.
Erin: I'm very interested in learning about sustainable living in different climates, especially agricultural methods that enhance biodiversity. In the evenings, I like arts, crafts, and taking it easy.
Zach: Some interests include anthropology, history, philosophy, and watching birds! I enjoy reading in my free time.

Erin: I've worked at multiple small farms and plant nurseries, so I'm familiar with prepping soil, seeding, weeding, watering, harvesting, and caring for animals. I've also done landscaping and have worked on environmental restoration projects.
Zach: I have a background in construction, including landscaping, carpentry, plumbing, and basic mechanical work. As well, I've done design projects in civil engineering and computer support. Recently, I've been doing conservation work to help an ecologically important and endangered tree species.
