Hello! 🌞
We are Benwyn and Emma, and we would love to volunteer on your organic farm for one month. We’ll be traveling around Southeast Asia from Autumn 2025 to Spring 2026 and would love to help out with a community farm. Here is some info about us:

About Benwyn
Benwyn(He/They) is 37 and grew up on an arable farm where he lived and worked with his family for the first 25 years of his life. He moved into education around 10 years ago, supporting children with autism and additional needs, teaching art, encouraging gardening and environmental interest and is a qualified play therapist; supporting children with mental health issues through play, art and the outdoors.
Benwyn has been keen to reconnect with farming, developing skills and understanding of permaculture and growing in a more community driven style since his family farm closed down, and is especially interested in seed saving as this was not something practiced by his family. More recently, Benwyn has been an on/off gardener, avid house plant collector and more recently, accidentally the largest breeder of stick insects in the country.
Outside of working, Benwyn loves learning new cooking skills, photography, listening to music, dancing and exploring.

About Emma
Emma (She/They) has been on this earth for 33 years and has a keen interest in composting, growing vegetables and medicinal herbs. She has worked a computer job in animation management for the last 10 years and would like to focus more on practical land development skills and community. During the pandemic, she learned about vegetable gardening and has since started four vegetable gardens at communal houses. She loves learning about all the different areas in a practical way and working in the community. So far, she’s looked into hot composting, no dig vegetable gardening and medicinal herbal teas. Her other interests are: Yoga, Hiking, Electronic Music, Saunas and Vegetarian/Vegan cooking.
