Hi! I am a passionate environmentalist looking to explore more of this big, beautiful world and to try and make an impact however I can. I love experiencing new cultures and places, and I always enjoy spending time immersed in nature.
I grew up in Florida and am very familiar with the subtropical climate. I love working outdoors with plants or just doing any kind of labor (that is what I've been doing for work for the past two years, both in Florida and out in the Pacific Northwest).
I am new to Workaway but I am very used to meeting new people in new places; I have travelled the US cross-country three times now and have lived in four different states! I also really enjoy environmental volunteer work like trash cleanups and native plantings, and I am passionate about making this world a better, healthier place.
I can be quiet when first getting to know people, but I am a certified Optimist and I don't like to complain - I typically find myself seeking positive experiences and people to surround myself with. I love working hard and feeling good about the work I'm doing. I look forward to meeting more wonderful people and experiencing these wonderful places firsthand!

I enjoy any outdoor tasks.
I have experience working with plants (planting, weeding, fertilizing, seed collecting).
I can use power tools such as chain saw, string trimmer, etc.
I can clean and cook well enough.
I enjoy being artistic but am by no means an artist.
Basic ability to sew and knit.
Basic understanding of Spanish.
I enjoy singing and playing piano if you are looking for an entertainer :)

I sing/hum to myself a lot - big lover of music and dancing! I also know how to salsa dance but would love more chances to practice.
I hope to write a book one day; I have always loved reading and writing.
