Hello! We’re Émile & Lucie

We’re a couple from Canada (Émile) and France (Lucie), currently finishing our master’s degrees in social sciences. We’ll be traveling together in Turkey from November to February and are excited to share our skills, learn new ones, and meet inspiring people along the way.

About Émile
I’m from Montréal and currently finishing my master’s thesis. I love reading, cinema, sociology, football, and having meaningful conversations on just about any subject. I enjoy discovering new cultures and languages (French and English are my main languages, and I’m learning Spanish). I’m a quick learner, good listener, and happy to help with cooking, gardening, general maintenance, or any hands-on project.

About Lucie
I’m from Normandy and also finishing my master’s in social sciences. I love learning new things and sharing knowledge, reading, attending to cultural events and hiking. I'm a fast learner who enjoy creative projects, sharing ideas, and learning practical skills along the way. I’m also open-minded, adaptable, and enjoy connecting with people from different cultures.

Émile : I would say that my biggest skills are cooking and my adaptability, I love working with a team , I'm patient and I'm also a positive and reliable person. I've worked in a restaurant and hostel in the past so I know how to adapt to many situations that needs multitasking or dealing with clients.

Lucie : I have worked in a café, which gave me good teamwork and hospitality skills. When it comes to new situation and environment, I'm also a fast learner.

We both have some skills in gardening, planting and general outdoor work, and even though we're not the best with construction or more complex manual work, we have lots of energy and are motivated to learn.
