Hi, I’m Elly from Taiwan – a beautiful island surrounded by the ocean.

I started my first solo trip at 21, and after then I’ve had the ambition to travel around the world. I prefer staying in one country longer so I can truly experience the local culture, not just sightseeing.

Solo trips make me braver and more independent, I tried a lot of things I never thought I would do, also made me appreciate things I used to take for granted. I believe that the premise of freedom is knowing what I really lack & desire in life.

Growing up surrounded by animals is one of the happiest parts of my childhood , and now my family has adopted a turtle and a dog. They’ve taught me about love, goodbyes, and responsibility.

I enjoy photography, cooking, and hiking. I’m happy to share homemade Taiwanese dishes, and I also look forward to exploring new places during my free time.

I’m starting my gap year after graduation with my working holiday visa in Australia , I hope I can find multiple ways to connect with the world, do something good for society, last but not least , be a better person !

🍛I always love cooking since I was a child, to be honest, at first I just liked staying with my mom and following her wherever she went , I wanted to try everything she was making, so I learned how to cook. I usually cook Traditional dishes, Japanese & Korean food , I look forward to sharing it with you!!

🐕‍🦺As a pet lover, I know how to take care of them and I am willing to spend time with animals .

👶My sister has a 3-year-old child, so I have some experience in childcare.

💼I learned teamwork from my school filmmaking projects.
I’ve worked in a bookstore, convenience store, and bubble tea shop, as well as interned in an HR department.
These different jobs make me open to learning new things. I’m curious, careful, and happy to try something new ✨
