I’m a down-to-earth Yorkshire girl who loves a good cup of tea and a sweet treat. At home I have three cats and a dog, who I miss a lot while I’m away. I’m passionate about nature, the environment, and conservation. I studied Environmental Biology at the University of Nottingham, and since June 2023 I’ve been travelling across South America, exploring new places and cultures, while trying to learn Spanish. I’m really excited to get involved in some Workaway projects and meet more people :)

I have experience working in hospitality and customer service from working as a waitress in my local pub and garden center. I also have experience working with children as a teaching assistant in a primary school and volunteering in an orphanage in Uganda. I studied environmental biology at Nottingham university which gave me lots of field work skills as well as data handling and analysis work. I have been traveling since February which requires organization and good time management. I enjoy meeting new people and love being part of team and getting involved. I have a passion for protecting the environment and have volunteered at conservation projects in Malaysia and South Africa.

I am interested in the outdoors, i love gardening and yoga as well as long walks. I have taken part in lots of conservation projects both abroad and in the UK. I love animals and miss my dog and cats while I’m traveling. I enjoy crafting and baking, and love finding a place to have a wild swim!
