I am looking to meet new people, learn new cultures and languages, and explore the beautiful scenery. I am interested in farm/garden life and DIY projects but I also enjoy other tasks!

Description

I love to share joy, help others, bask in the sun, and overcome challenges. I am interested in the complex ways that life works. I strive to experience different perspectives and learn new things. Working with kids, animals, and nature brings me peace. I also enjoy building things and creating art.

I am currently in the mountains in Asturias, Spain until November 4th. I am assisting in the renovation of a house, gardening/yard work, building necessary structures for the winter season, and utilizing power tools (chainsaw, table saw, axe, sander). I am looking for another opportunity of this sort from November 4th-December 15th or any amount of time between. I am particularly interested in taking care of animals and harvesting/gardening!

I had the opportunity to study abroad in the Dominican Republic: it was a pivotal moment that I am forever grateful for. I hope to find such moments in the places I go. I was also an Aupair in Italy last year and it was incredible.

I speak English and have some Spanish knowledge. I am open to learning new languages and sharing mine. Please share your wonderful culture with me!

I played competitive soccer for ten years, which has taught me lots about perseverance and working with others. I am responsible and dependable. I like to find ways to solve problems and encourage others along the way. I put my greatest effort into everything I do, along with being efficient.

I attended a Waldorf Elementary School, teaching me how to garden, carve wood, knit/crochet, paint, and create many things with my hands.

I worked in a biochemistry research lab during undergrad, which involved precise and accurate decisions/execution. I then graduated with my Bachelor’s in Biochemistry!
