Description
Hi, I am Eliora (or Ellie for short). I live in a village in the middle of the forest on the north coast of Israel, with a small community of friends.
Ever since I can remember I was surrounded by nature and uniqe people.
I aspire to live as close to nature as possible, grow and cook my own food, and connect with good hearted humans and animals.
I am a photographer, I enjoy capturing life as it is, the little moments that make everything whole and also the imperfections around us.
The reason I joined WorkAway is that I love to travel I believe that the best way to do it is by joining the local community and culture and participating in their day to day lives rather than observing as an outsider tourist.
I would love to help you in the garden/field, build a cabbin, walk the sheep to the pasture, milk the goats or whatever you need...Interests

The original plan was to stay with them about ten days but on the second day we (me and Ace my boyfriend who decided to join me 😊) decided to stay longer and ended up staying a whole beautiful month!

I spent a whole month at their place, I was expecting a more communal experience but ended up spending a lot of time on my own which was actually exactly what I needed at the time.
I worked mostly in the garden, weeding, planting, seeding and harvesting, and also cooked things with the vegetables… read more

The community welcomed me so nicely I soon forgot I am there for only a few weeks.
Mostly I worked in the garden, weeding, but also got to help take care of the chickens, do some work in the café building, chop fire wood and collect hay bales (and a lot more). Work felt really chill and… read more
