Hello! My name is Elijah (like the prophet), I am 26 years young, but a lot of folks say I'm an old soul (whatever that means) Travel is a great way to learn about the world and see ourselves through a new lens. I am passionate about learning new things, music of all kinds, and being immersed in nature. I'm a hard worker, and I care most about providing quality care in everything I do. I find animals and gardening to be very therapeutic, and I would really enjoy any opportunity to work in an environment with either or both. I love to delve into conscious conversation, make music, hike, read, and explore new places.

This was a excellant cultural experience. The oppurtunity to be involved with the arts collective in town was a very enriching experience. I had the honor of working with a skilled sculptor in preparing for a mardi gras mask making workshop and I was able to make my own mask. Elijah showed up at the very beginning of our most ambitious project, framing a big communal center for the whole project, and jumped in with both feet. He was adaptable to any task, from drilling structural steel to cutting floor joists. When he wasn't sure about something, he clarified it right away and made sure the job was done well.
