Description
Hi!
My name is Elham, and I’m looking for a host for late August and September. (Note: My partner Sobhan and I created this account together, but he won’t be traveling with me this time.) I have just graduated with my master’s degree in design, and I’d like to take one last trip in Italy before moving to Glasgow, where my partner lives.
I love traveling because it teaches me patience, brings me friends (I met my best friend two years ago through another Workaway experience!), and allows me to discover new cultures and cuisines. I have experience working with children — I’ve been an art teacher, and just a month ago, I worked as a summer camp counselor.
I enjoy being around people from diverse backgrounds, and when I host others, I love sharing stories, culture, and food. My favorite activities include playing board games, hiking, biking, and cooking.

Feedback
Although I had already lived in Italy before, this experience was very different. Living with a family and being part of the warmth of their home allowed me to experience Italian life in a much deeper and more authentic way. Until then, I… read more
