Heyyy! I am Eira from Wales. I am travelling from the Uk to Canada overland, I have just arrived to the Caribbean from Las Palmas by sailboat ⛵️ I am hoping to find some workaways on my journey to get to know the places I am visiting more thoroughly and to save some money on the way. I have been training for a year in carpentry and would like to develop these skills. I'm happy to help with anything that needs doing - cooking, cleaning, childcare, gardening, animal care. Looking for chill vibes and a peaceful journey ✌️

Drawing/ making images with all sorts of mediums. I taught drawing for a year at the V&A in London.
I love craft projects, I made a metal fire-pit (for which I learned how to weld) and a surfboard, spend a year studying carpentry and joinery.
I'm good at working with big groups of people, I produced and directed my end of year degree show which involved organizing 160 artists, and working with the more specific groups of people working on curation and branding and fundraising.
I grew up on a smallholding where we keep pigs, bees, chickens and I incubate ducklings and chicks. I have practise on how to look after animals and care for them.
In Hungary I was working with the small charity MiraDoor whose goal is to incorporate refugees and migrants into Hungarian culture.

Eira was with me for 2 weeks in September, she is a great Workawayer, she did projects in the workshop with the bandsaw and lathe both very technical. She was busy here weeding, transplanting and digging a bed for garlic.
