I am currently living in Brisbane.
I love being in nature and dream of promoting an off-grid lifestyle in Japan in the future. While I was in Tasmania, I stayed with a host family who lived off-grid, and I was deeply inspired by their way of life. After spending five months living in a tent at a campground, I realized what I truly want to pursue.
I’m very eager to learn more about off-grid living, self-sufficiency (like how to grow vegetables), and permaculture. These are the values and skills I want to explore and develop further.
So far, I’ve had the opportunity to experience nine homestays in New Zealand and Australia. At many of them, I helped with gardening tasks such as mowing lawns, planting vegetables, watering, and weeding.
I like hiking, trekking, camping, gardening, fishing, cooking and reading.
I like talking to people. And I am curious and interested in many things and working on them. I can work hard and I’ll do my best to support you. I’m going to do everything if you teach me.Interests

More details about your skills
I have had a home stay and farmstay experience in New Zealand in 2011 and have developed a great fondness for the people of New Zealand. I played with the children at the homestay and took care of the animals at the farmstay. I worked as a kitchen hand and waiter at Five Knots (Tamaki Yacht Club) in Mission Bay New Zealand for 7 months.
My background is as an electrical designer. I attended a technical college and then worked for 7.5 years at Hitachi Building Systems ltd assembling control panels designing electrical parts for elevators. If you have a small electrical problem, I can handle it. I have experience repairing my host family's lamps and electric heater and audio amplifier.
