Hi everyone!

I'm Eddie, I'm 20 years old, bilingual French/English and grew up in Toulouse, France.

My family has been hosting Workawayers for most of my life and I've always wanted to have that experience myself. We have a VW campervan and have travelled most of Europe in it, from Lisbon in Portugal to Istanbul in Turkey, from Naples in Italy to Göthunberg in Sweden. This experience has given me the travel bug ... so here I am!

I'm currently doing a Sociology Bachelor in Amsterdam, I am enjoying it however as soon as I get an oportunity to leave my desk and go out and experience the world I'm taking it, so here I am on my holiday travelling Norway with Workaway.

I love learning new things. I'll throw all my energy and time into something I'm invested in, and want to do anything that makes a positive difference to other people. I am interested in world politics and strongly motivated by issues around social justice. I went on a gap year when I was 18, from beach cleaning in Norway, supportting Afghan refugees in Greece to teaching english in Nepal. They've all been incredible experiences and I've learned so much.

I am physically fit and practiced Tae Kwando for several years, so have no problem with activities that require lots of energy and physical strength.

I'd describe myself as mature. My sense of humour could be described as very 'IT Crowd' if you know it, and I've been told I do a good Moss impression! :) I've got initiative and don't need to be constantly told what to do. I'm eager to meet good people, help where I can and experience as much as possible!

In the UK I had some experience of blogging around environmental issues, and writing reports. In Greece, I created social media content for the refugee support organisation I volunteered for, which often involved telling harrowing stories sensitively.
