Hi! My name is Eduarda and I am doing a working holiday in Australia for a year. I want to use this year to explore Australia, meet new people, learn more about different subjects I find interesting but never explored in detail (such as permaculture, Buddhism and religion, creative arts, writing, and history), and connect with nature.
I want to travel and experience Australia through Workaway because I don't just wanna meet other travelers; I want to experience the places I visit, the people I meet and the cultures I encounter in an authentic way and get a taste of the local life.
I love to cook and try out new foods and flavors, and I especially love to bake. I usually don't follow a recipe and just follow my inspiration or work with whatever I have in the fridge/pantry. I follow a plant-based diet (following this diet has allowed me to use my creative side in the kitchen, which has increased my enjoyment of cooking! I also like to read, going on hikes and exploring nature. I want to try new hobbies, such as painting, playing the piano, scuba diving and surfing.
I love gardening and look forward to learning more about farming and permaculture.

More details about my language interests
I can teach Portuguese (I have taught Portuguese as a volunteer trough Speak). I speak a little bit a French (learned in school but already forgot most of it), but would love to study and improve it. I can understand some Spanish but would love to actually be able to speak it fluently.

I am a very resourceful person and I have great problem-solving skills! I have done different workaway experiences where I worked in the garden, taking out weeds, clearing paths, cutting wood and mowing the lawn.
I love to watch Property Brothers and I have done a few renovation projects myself. Simple stuff, such as covering holes and painting the walls to give the place a fresh look! However, I am looking to upgrade my skills and learn more advanced stuff!
I speak Portuguese and English fluently and know a bit of French.
I am a good cook. I like to try out new recipes and be creative in the kitchen. I am following a plant-based diet so I cook plant-based - it's actually pretty easy! If you want I can cook healthy meals, but I can also cook indulgent ones! I also love to bake, especially birthday cakes!
