My next destination:
Buenos Aires, Argentina - from Oct 2024 until Oct 2025 View allDescription
Hey there.
I am Dona, a 35 year old Parisian who loves literature, history, hiking, doing the plank in the sea and expanding my horizons by discovering new cultures and making new friends.
I enjoy contributing to group projects and I'm a hard worker, always to eager to learn new things.
I have moved to the amazing city of Buenos Aires 6 months ago and have been spending some time volunteering in various NGOs and projects since then.
I also have had memorable Workaway experiences in the Philippines, in Colombia and Argentina over the past couple of years. I got the chance to meet amazing people while contributing to inspiring initiatives.
In the future I want to open a place of ecotourism, giving people the opportunity to recharge while being in contact with nature and experiencing a new form of community. Therefore I am super eager to learn more about anything (esp agriculture and hospitality).Interests

More details about your skills
I have worked more than a year in hospitality in Sydney and Paris (in high paced cafés and restaurants).
Working 10y in advertising and communications (the last 4y for a company aiming to reduce the ecological footprint of tech by selling refurbished devices) taught me quite a bit: I’m a seasoned strategist and project manager, I am creative and solution oriented and I love team work.
I have been part of various NGOs over the past 7years, between France and Argentina, with a focus on inclusion of communities and new comers to the country.
I have had many experience taking care of children too. From baby sitting to supervision in a school and I love spending time playing with kids.
I like gardening, DIY and I am super eager to improve my skills in both areas (esp since I'm part of Ingéniera sin fronteras in Buenos Aires).
I speak French, Spanish and English quite fluently and (hopefully still a bit of) German.Age
