Hello there! My name is Domonkos. I'm 21 years old and from Hungary.

I'm currently on a gap semester (half year) from university, which I intend to live to the fullest with workaway.
I would like to travel, experience, and get to know new people and cultures.
For me, Workaway is an opportunity to do all of that while also helping and caring, and above all, learning.

I adapt easily to different environments and enjoy challenging myself in new situations.
I can help around the house (with children too, if necessary). Help with everyday chores or animals (especially cats, which I adore!). I’m a calm, reliable, curious, and respectful person.

I love nature, and in my free time, I enjoy hiking or finding spots where you just sit, take it all in, connect with the environment, and self-reflect.

I'm looking for experiences that allow me to grow both personally and culturally.

As for a longer review, I am familiar with all the basic skills that a college student needs.
Such as cleaning, cooking meals, doing basic 2-handed jobs, or simple gardening. I can set up a campfire or look out for a little group on a hike.
I think communication and teamwork is the bare minimum that is required to solve any problem.
If there is a clear goal to achieve and tools to work with, we will get there somehow.

Above all, I would like to stress that I am willing to learn, experience, and be flexible, but I can do that only if there is someone to teach me first. If there is no communication or guideline, just my person might not be enough.

I feel the need to say this because it is my first workaway experience, and I can only guess what to expect.

What else ...

I love nature and the outdoors; it can be hiking, cycling, or climbing. I love a walk in the local park just as much as a hike on a high mountain.
I also enjoy water sports, such as canoeing and kayaking, and one of my main goals is to learn scuba diving.

I like board games, anything. One of my favourites is Bang, and I would love to play Dungeons and Dragons with a good team (I can be the dungeon master as well as a player)
