Description

We are a couple in our late 30's from the south-west of England.

Laura goes by the name Barr but Workaway likes real names.

We took the plunge and quit our jobs to travel the Americas.

Dom is/was a chef and Barr is/was a lawyer.

Our adventure started in January in Mexico, what was only supposed to be a couple of weeks turned into seven weeks. We then moved on to Costa Rica for three weeks to meet some friends. After leaving our friends we bumbled around Nicaragua, journeyed through Honduras, explored Belize and are now getting to know Guatemala.

It's been amazing and we are two very happy souls :)

Having done a couple of Workaways we both enjoy the structure and satisfaction of working towards something whilst on location. Workaways bring variation and more people into our travel experience which is great!

We are both chilled people and are happy to get stuck in with any task that is thrown our way.

Dom is a brilliant chef and enjoys cooking for others, which is a win for Barr! Dom is also friendly and chatty to all so is brilliant in a social situation.

Barr is determined, organised and a logical person so will see a job to it's very end. Barr has basic DIY and gardening skills but would like to expand these.

Both are animal lovers and hard workers.

Dom has a guitar with him and likes to sit in a corner playing lovely songs.

Barr is an avid reader and can be known to finish a book on a day of left alone on a beach

We have played some serious Uno Flip and the Monopoly card game whilst we have been travelling. It would be nice to play with others!
