Description

I have spent the past few years travelling and volunteering. I believe life experience is much more valuable than money!

Through Workaway, I have had many experiences which have totally changed my perception of the world. Living close to people from very different cultures to my own has taught me to see the similarities we all share as humans.

I love being part of something greater than myself, and when people give me the opportunity to contribute to their project it really means a lot to me.

When I visit a host, I make sure to leave any expectations at the door. I do not travel to distant lands expecting all the comforts of home. I am here to live as you do, to try and see the world as you do.

I have been practising different forms of meditation for some years. I am very interested in learning about any spiritual traditions.

I am also a music lover, so music is a big inspiration and motivation of mine.

I have a background in social media content creation and some graphic design experience. I love to write blog posts. I am very familiar with instagram and what makes a good story!

I have a background in gardening & horticulture. I've spent the past year working with a florist, which gave me experience in event work, construction, floristry and improved my knowledge of plants & flowers in general.

I have taught English in various institutions in Europe and Mexico, and enjoy helping others learn. A 1 year TEFL degree certificate.

I have spent 2 years working in various restaurants & bars, so I have a good level of experience in the hospitality industry. This means plenty of experience serving customers and being responsible for the upkeep of a space. I can work well under my own initiative. I enjoy being around & sharing experiences with new people!

I have basic cooking skills, and can cook confidently for a group of people.
I like to think of myself as a fast learner, and can follow instruction quite well.
I'm an outgoing person, so I work very well as part of a team and have a good grasp of how to communicate with guests.
