Hei! My name is Dirk and I am an outdoor type who is looking for a new challenge outside. Whether agriculture / horticulture / animal husbandry: I can get involved and am not afraid to get dirty.
Although rather introverted, I am communicative. If necessary I can be direct (in several languages), but that is the exception. My native languages ​​are Dutch and Frisian. I am fluent in the German language and my English is good. I have started to learn Norwegian, but it still takes practice before I can express myself properly,
From my studies and my previous jobs, I have experience in the areas of planning, management responsibility and (limited) finances.

My native languages ​​are Dutch and Frisian. Because I lived and worked in Germany for several years, I speak German fluently. My English is good, but there is room for improvement in terms of vocabulary, among other things. I have limited basic knowledge of Norwegian (Bokmal), but would like to learn the language better.

Instead of just vacationing in a country, I prefer to live and work there. I successfully completed my logistics studies (B. Eng), which I began in the Netherlands, in Germany. A few months then quickly turned into many years, as I decided to work there.
I worked as a logistics planner and then I was lucky enough to turn my hobby, the railway, into my job (train driver). I am currently working as a production employee in the agricultural sector. In my free time/holidays I like to help my sister on the farm with the things that need to be done there. I am good with and towards animals. Since in the Netherlands I can't always buy many of the herbs that I use for cooking, I grow them myself in the garden.
What sets me apart is a structured way of working and solution-oriented thinking. Plus a strong will to get things done.
I'm quite familiar with tools, but I'm happy to take advice.

What else ...

In my free time I like jogging. Otherwise, I enjoy photographing (the landscape/nature) and am currently teaching myself the technique. I think the pictures are good enough to show to the public via Instagram and the comments are consistently positive. :) :) Otherwise, I have a great interest in the history and technology of railways. For many years I volunteered at a railway museum and was able to get involved there.
