Description
Hello! We are Diane and Anaïs, a couple of French artists.
We share a deep love for nature and travelling. Diane is a photographer and adventurer, she works in thriving, remote natural places. Anaïs is a designer, visual artist and illustrator.
We want to travel more slowly, in a low-impact, minimalist way, to have deeper connections with the people and places we visit.
After 16 years as a graphic designer, spent mostly in the USA, Anaïs is now looking to develop her personal art practice and use her creative skills for more ethical purposes. Through this process she's also working on reconnecting with her deeper self and exploring different ways of living and being.
As for Diane, she is also seeking to make her work more useful and impactful, for example by documenting how Indigenous people fight to protect their lands.
We are especially curious about plants and ecosystems, and how people live in harmony with the forests and mountains they belong to. We want to develop creative projects and tell stories about these connections.
We are a calm, open-minded and respectful couple. We value direct and kind communication, both between ourselves and with others. We prefer quiet environments and small groups, but we can also be very enthusiastic and playful with the things we're passionate about.
We would like to prioritize outdoor work, or even better work in the wilderness (such as farms, animal-friendly livestock care, construction, or ethical tourism projects). -
