Description
Diana: Hey! I am Diana, a 26-year old German who is currently on a work and travel through Europe. I finished a my BA in Cultural Studies at Nagoya University in Japan last year. Most people would probably describe me as reliable, positive and creative. I bring a wide variety of skills and experience! Check out the description. Also, I grew up in a big patchwork family and have been traveling all my life. So, I have no difficulties adapting to all kinds of environments and people. For me, happiness is in the small things, like the sound of leaves in the wind, or dancing until the feet hurt (very cheesy, I know). :) I am passionate to learn new things, get to know people, and challenge myself!
Linda: Hi, I‘m also 26 years old. I‘ve just finished my two bachelors in sociology and anthropology. I’ve studied in Heidelberg which is a wonderful students town in the southwest of Germany. I‘m currently applying for Master‘s programs.
In my „gap time“ I am currently working with Diana on a farm in Switzerland. Also, I‘d like to travel to and work in other beautiful places. In my freetime I love outdoor activities like surfing for example. I like cooking and baking. Also, I like cultural exchanges and connecting with people from all over the world.
My friends would probably describe me as a happy and mindful person who is curious and open minded.

Diana: I am very happy to share my knowledge in German, English and Japanese with others! I can understand French too, but it is a little rusty. Linda: A few years ago I studied in Paris for a while. Since I haven’t been to France for a long time I would love to speak French with someone again. Also I speak Russian and English and of course German.

Throughout my life, I have worked several jobs, everything from café waitress, insurance office, fancy Berlin stores to pottery studio and alpine farms. Recently, I helped renovate my great grandparents house.
Also I've done workaway projects that involved cleaning, weeding, gardening and caring for animals (I know how to milk goats and cows! :D). I am a hard worker, and love both manual and hands-on work as well as more „intellectual work“.

I grew up in a big family and am used to do everyday household tasks like laundry, cooking and cleaning, basic gardening tasks etc. Although I only have elder siblings, I would say I get along with children well too. Pets and other animals are no problem either! In short, I can offer help with all kinds of things, and I will do whatever task comes up reliably. I also have no problem taking responsibility or being proactive.
My biggest strength is creativity, and I have experience with projects such as making stop-motion animation, murals, painting pottery, and drawing and sketching in general. I have also created some small films and managed social media accounts in the past.
Lastly, I am communicative and speak many languages so can also help with anything related here as well. I have a BA in cultural studies, so I have much experience in writing, researching and creating presentations too.

What else ...
Diana: I love to be creative, in particular drawing and sketching. My favorite pastime is to go on long walks, and sketch interesting things I see outside. Also, I am interested in art and design made by others, and like to visit museums or exhibitions. I also like to dance, make music and party a bit from time to time.
In general, I love to be outside, for example to hike, surf, swim or take walks. But I also love to spend days inside, to cook, bake or to invite friends over.
