Hello! My name is Daniel, I am an artist who has lived in the US my whole life. I am internally motivated by a desire for interconnectivity and unique experiences. In my studies I have been strongly inspired by people who create community, challenge implicit hierarchies, and make that work accessible. In my work and my life, I am happiest when people are their full selves and can connect with nature. I love long walks, hiking in unfamiliar places, making art with friends and strangers, and learning new skills and perspectives. Anything that challenges me, physically or mentally, brings me happiness.

I have held several odd jobs in addition to my formal training as a musician and artist. I have worked for an independent contractor remodeling houses and maintaining existing properties. This position was extremely independent and varied. I was responsible for everything from demolition, to construction, waste disposal, tending flower beds and gardens, and mowing grass. I have also worked for a plumber and electrician, fixing and wiring houses and tending to various plumbing issues. In addition, I have worked as a camp counselor at a high school fine arts camp. Sharing in the artistic passions of young people brings me immense joy and I do all I can to promote that.

No so much anymore but I played recreational sports for a large part of my life. I love soccer, volleyball, and cycling. Because of my contracting experience, I also love building things. I have built several contraptions to hold my extensive plant collection out of recycled and upcycled materials. I also love reading non-fiction. I'm at my happiest listening to an audiobook on sociology or philosophy and walking in the forest on a sunny day. Cooking and growing my own food also brings me a lot of joy. My favorite thing to make right now is a Thai rice noodle dish with coconut, bak choy, mushrooms, and dumplings.
