Description
Having made the brave decision to hand in our notices for our full-time jobs in Glasgow, Scotland, we embark on a 5-month journey around SE Asia (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia). We then plan on heading to Australia for at least 12 months on a working holiday VISA.
Hannah and I met 12 months ago, we have already travelled to 6 countries together, sharing a passion for travelling and experiencing different cultures.
We’re both very open-minded, kind and sociable. We share a love for the outdoors and wildlife having grown up in rural Scotland and Ireland. We’re looking to get back to our roots and get out of the concrete jungle!
In our spare time we love to attend fitness classes, dog sit and spend weekends in the countryside.
We’d love to experience our travelling a little differently and commit our time to helping others and working on projects while learning new skills.Interests

Hannah is a qualified occupational therapist who has previously worked in various settings including mental health, physical and community care. She has diverse experience working with individuals ranging from early years to elderly. She has worked 2 years with adults with learning disabilities.
I have been working as a telecommunications engineer with a background in sports coaching and fitness. I have worked with a diverse range of people including younger children, young adults and people with special needs in volunteering and paid positions.
We have both been working as part-time dog sitters on an app called Rover for the past year and you can view our profile with reviews here: https://r.rover.com/PNBzmZ
We volunteered at the Laos Buffalo Dairy Farm in April for 5 weeks for our first Workaway. We had a great experience doing guided tours of the farm for guests, teaching them all about the social enterprise and demonstrating the milking, feeding and washing of the buffalos. We both received great feedback from our time here and built up a great rapport with the owners, workawayers and guests.
Fun fact: Hannah and I worked at the same summer camp in the USA before we met each other! Hannah was a nanny for the camp director’s baby, and I was a group leader.Age
