Description
Hey, I'm Dana from New Zealand. I am just about to finish my degree in Anthropology and History and super exited to start traveling and exploring the world once I graduate. I have always had a love for experiencing and learning about different cultures (hence the degree), and it has been a dream of mine to travel the world for as long as I can remember. I am hoping to meet some awesome people through Work Away who can give me some cultural experiences, and am keen for any opportunity that comes! I also love nature, hiking, am a very creative person and am interested in learning some new skills too!

I have had about 5 years of experience in Hospitality being a waitress, bartender and hostess. For most of the time this was at a restaurant that is also a wedding venue and popular tourist destination. I also worked with an events company that had a range of hospitality work such as bartending at festivals, doing brand ambassador work, or being a private host for the horse races.
I also have lots of experience with children. My parents owned a childcare for most of my life, and we lived next door, so I would often help out. I am also currently a dance teacher for preschool kids, but have also worked with older children and volunteered to help creative movement with special needs children.
I also have half a years experience in retail so am good at managing systems. On top of that, my degree has made me a great researcher, very open-minded, and a fast learner who is respectful of all people. I am also a somewhat skilled photographer and know my way around some of the creative cloud apps, gaining a scholarship for it at the end of high school. I am hoping to develope these skills as I travel and share them on a blog
