Hæ, my name is Dan, I'm 26 years old, and I'm currently in Iceland. I'm open to new experiences, vacationing, and working in Iceland.

I use this app to find places to stay. In exchange for accommodation, I would be happy to help out with gardening, housework, pet sitting, or anything else I can lend a hand with.

I am a homebody who values moments of tranquility almost as much as sharing a good glass of wine with new friends. I am travel alone, I don't smoke, and I am not a vegetarian. My English level is intermediate, but I can understand if you speak slowly and are patient with me! In return, you will have my grateful heart!

Teaching Spanish is my passion. I believe in the power of language to connect cultures, and I am excited to bring that enthusiasm to Iceland. In my free time, I enjoy taking leisurely walks and reflecting on the simple pleasures of life. I am reliable, respectful, and always willing to help. I’m a native Spanish tutor, passionate about teaching. My English is at an intermediate level—my reading and comprehension are quite strong, and I’m continuously working on improving my speaking. I’m a dedicated Spanish tutor with years of teaching experience, so I’m comfortable teaching learners of all levels. My computer proficiency includes word processing, basic troubleshooting, internet research, and familiarized with common software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).

At home, I take pride in managing all household responsibilities: cleaning, organizing spaces, and doing basic repairs. I’ve also cared for pets my entire life—my Poodle (Doky) companion of 15 years taught me patience, and daily exercise routines. Because of these experiences, I’m happy to take on pet care, gardening, household tasks, or any other duties where an extra pair of hands is needed.

I’m open-minded, adaptable, and eager to apply my teaching, computer, and practical household skills in whatever areas best support my hosts.

I love movies, TV series, and video games! I chose Iceland because it has always been my dream to explore its culture, learn the language, and discover its landscapes firsthand. I feel truly fortunate to have this opportunity!

I’m also in the process of obtain my Spanish citizenship, as my great-grandfather was Spanish. And I'm very excited about it!
