Description

Hi there :D My name is Cristian. I am solo travelling Europe and South East Asia! Before this, I used to work supporting mental health organisations expand their services. I used to be a physio before that.

On my travels, I love going into nature, hiking and rock-climbing but also appreciate the city life. The best part is meeting like-minded people, connecting and creating things together.

I love volunteering. I believe it’s a beautiful way to be of service and connect with different peoples and communities. I am quite extroverted and love getting to know locals and lend a hand whenever possible.

Most recently, I volunteered with couple of NGOs in New Zealand for roughly 2 years. The first one is a mental health organisation called Youthline where I facilitated workshops of emotional resilience. I also worked as front of house for a restaurant called Everybody Eats.

A personal cause that really moves me is mental health advocacy. Nowadays, I mentor people. Below, you can find my IG if you’re curious.

I’m fluent in English and Spanish. I’d love to have the opportunity to help others improve their language skills. I’m also a New Zealander so I can teach about the cultural aspect of Anglo-Saxon English.

Social media & marketing skills:
I have my own coaching business so this is something I love doing. From marketing my content, target a certain population group, data analytics through to video and photo content creation. I am learning with every passing day in this area as well. I’d be very keen on taking these responsibilities.

Hospo:
I’ve worked as front of house (waiter) in both cafes and bars and I love it. I can also help with cleaning, gardening etc..

Mindfulness meditation:
I teach basic meditation techniques in my professional life. These include metta, vipassana, tonglen, breathing meditation etc..

Mentoring:
In my coaching space, I support people find their own self-love within. I help them find inner resources so they can pursue the life they‘re meant to live.

Rehabilitation skills:
I used to work as a physiotherapist. I can help people handle their own acute and chronic pain.

English teaching skills:
Most recently, I taught in a rural English school in Laksao, Laos. There, I taught kids, teenagers and young adults.

What else ...

I love rock climbing, particularly outdoors. Currently, I can lead climb up to 5c. I find it to be a beautiful mental and physical activity.

Recently, I got into scuba diving and I’m hooked. Having access to the marine life is a privilege. It motivates me to do what I can to take care of the planet.

Reading books is more than a passion to me. It’s like a refuge. I like non-fiction, fiction, essays, autobiographies… Currently reading ‘My life on the road’ by Gloria Steinem and ‘Transcending the levels of consciousness’ by David R. Hawkins. Fyi, I am writing my own book :)

Also, I love hiking and just hanging out with friends.
