My name is Helen. I am from Brecon, Wales.
I am curious about life and have a bubbly, caring, kind, and determined personality. I am also reliable and honest.
While I appreciate comfort and stability, I also enjoy going out and having adventures. I love trying new things, but I prefer having boundaries and need time to adjust to changes.
My background is in art and design. Gardening is one of my passions; my mother and I have tended to a vegetable patch in our garden for many years. I also enjoy swimming, climbing, and playing the clarinet. In addition, I like crocheting and watching TV, and cooking.

I learn best visually, with the help of pictures. At times, I can get burnt out and tend to take things literally. However, I often exhibit heightened emotions, intense focus, and unique perspectives that fuel my innovation and productivity. I have a knack for noticing details while keeping the big picture in mind.

I want to participate in workaway because I am eager to meet new people, learn more languages, and travel more. I am excited about the idea of acquiring new skills. As an artist, I aspire to take more photographs and gather inspiration while experiencing the world.
I am a Christian and attend a lovely church called Freedom Church in Cardiff. I am also vegetarian and have been for 5 years now.

I studied art and design at university, which provided me with skills in pottery, textiles, painting, and resin work. I have painted my bedroom and created a dragon, waterfall, and moon mural in the shower room. Currently, I create and sell my ceramics and resin pieces at craft fairs, galleries, and online through Etsy.

At home, I help with gardening alongside my mother, and together we started a vegetable garden. Each year, we grow vegetables that we enjoy eating. Previously, I worked as a cleaner in a hotel and as an activities coordinator at an elderly care home. These activities showcase my skills in creativity, patience, design and problem solving.
Additionally, I volunteered at CICD, assisting with gardening. I can swim and ride a bike, and I have some cooking skills as well.
