hey — Clair and Tiarnán here :)
We're a couple (both 28) that met in Spain doing what we both love: travelling. We're planning a trip from Ireland (Tiarnán's home) — eastwards — to the USA (Clair's home). We're not in a rush, and we're hoping to fill our journey with projects, both together and alone, that align with our values. We're very easy going, open minded people with zero dietary restrictions.
A little more about us...
Clair — I was born in the US and my family is from Mexico. I speak Spanish and English :) I have spent about a year recently travelling and doing Workaways and I was happy to make new friends, connect more deeply with the cultures of the places I was visiting, and learn from and be inspired by some amazing projects. I'm so excited to share this new trip and experience with my partner Tiarnán. I have experience in education, art, ecology, and community organising. I am very interested in permaculture and construction and in my free time I like to run, go birding, and paint.
Tiarnán — I was born and raised in Derry, in the northwest of Ireland, but I have also called England and Germany home. My interests include language, science & nature, music and filmmaking. I have had experience teaching language and music, working with young children in kindergartens, in the service industry, and as a writer & filmmaker. I speak English, German, and a little bit of Irish. I would like to find opportunities working in education, art, or with young people and I am interested in developing skills in ecology, construction, farming and gardening. -
