  • Description

    Hi there! :-)

I'm an occupational therapist with different work experience on the side (see below). In my main occupation I specialized in work therapy in psychiatries. I currently study mathematics and philosophy. Until October 2023 I will live in Tromsø, Norway.

In my spare time I enjoy mountaineering, hitchhiking and wildcamping. I also love running, cycling and sports in general. I like to draw, do handcraft and bake as well.
I have a big heart for plants, animals and people as well as languages and logic.

If left alone, I am minimalistic and organized. The food I cook is mostly vegetarian and simple. I eat everything when being cooked for. I lived by myself as well as in many shared apartments and grew up in patchwork families. That, traveling to around 35 countries and living in some of them, made me quite adaptable and helped me enjoy a wide and wild range of housing, culture, lifestyles and people. :-)

I don't have much social media, but here is my Couchsurfing profile in case you are curious:

I am excited to hear from you and in the end getting to know you! :-)

  • More details about your skills

I enjoy both monotonous/routine work that requires little thinking up to creating a new project on my own. If you need and give me the freedom to do so, I also thrive in taking over responsibility.

I like to draw (mainly chalk/charcoal/pencil) and carve stuff (soap stone, wood, candles, soap). I also have some experience in renovating and painting.
For my work as a therapist, I learned how to do basket weaving, ceramics, book binding, carpentry, macrame, engraving (glass, coconut), sewing (I like to fix stuff, too!), felting and origami. I worked as a graffiti teacher for children for a while.

I've worked on farms with llamas, alpacas, pigs, rabbits, chicken, goats, sheep, cows and horses before. Also took care of apple trees, palm trees and general gardening.

I also worked with children in a nursery, kindergarden and school, in house administration of student dormitories (and janitor of sorts), cleaning apartments, as a waitress, kitchen hand, in Mc Donalds, as a first aid instructor and now tour guide. I've always been curious about how things work. :-)

I have a car license but no driving experience. Not sure about my cooking skills, more confident in baking...
