Description
We are a married couple in our 30s from Norfolk, UK travelling the world. We started our travels in South East Asia in December 2024 then arrived in Perth, Australia at the end of January.
We plan to be in Australia for 3 years. We would love to meet other people and gain new experiences.
We both love the outdoors and animals. We enjoy hiking, cycling, and being in and around water.
Hayley likes to spend time reading, doing yoga and learning. In the UK, she worked in psychology in a community mental health team. Prior to this, she worked in social care, particularly with people with dementia.
Chris enjoys fishing, and tinkering with engines and anything mechanical. In the UK, he worked for the Coastguard as a unmanned aircraft engineer. He also volunteered as a ranger on the Norfolk Broads National Park, which involved patrols by boat and countryside management, maintaining waterways and habitats.
We have family with a farm so have some experience of working on the land and with animals. We would be interested in working on, and learning about, eco projects as this is something that is important to us. We are both eager to learn new skills and gain new knowledge.
We love to learn about different cultures and are happy to share anything you'd like to know about ours.
We are both happy to get stuck in with any tasks the host requires and will not shy away from physical or mental work.
