I am a friendly undergraduate student pursuing a data science major in Minnesota, U.S.A. I have 3 years of experience working with K-12 children through a STEM initiative held at my university. I love talking to the kids and teaching them new things! I also have 5+ years of experience working in a restaurant and a cafe. Working as a research assistant now, I have developed great organization and time management skills. I am a quick learner and take initiative in my work.

Japanese Experience:
I am half Japanese and attended Japanese school when I was young. I go to Japan every other summer to visit family. I have intermediate level proficiency in Japanese! (I can understand more than I can speak it though…)

I love anything music! I am in a choir group at my university. I am also passionate about DIY/crafts. I love spending time making things with my hands and decorating my room! I also love playing games, taking care of animals, and going to the gym.

I am also trying to get more into baking! My favorite dessert to make is ロールケーキ!
