Description
Hi, I'm Chloe and I'm from the south of Germany but with a Romanian migration background :)
I previously used Workaway during my gap year and I was able to gain lots of diverse experiences and meet a lot of exciting people and I am incredibly grateful for those opportunities! They allowed me to broaden my range of abilities or become better in the abilities that I already possess.
I knew that it would definitely not be the last time that I use workaway but once I started my anthropology studies I got quite busy with university. Now, finally, after 3 years I decided to revive my account again to use my semester breaks for some fresh input.
Over the years, I have worked in different areas with lots of different tasks.
I have worked
- in gastronomy (bakery and catering services)
- on a farm/gardening
- with sled dogs
- in retail at IKEA with physical but also administrative and customer service tasks
- as a hostess and promoter
- on festivals
- with kids (when I was 17 my baby brother was born, but already before and after I collected experiences in tutoring, a kindergarten, child care during kids workshops etc.)
- as a conflict manager for the city of Munich
- as a volunteer in counselling
- at student events in my dorm
In my free time, I like to:
- do sports (running, yoga, swimming, climbing)
- be outside in nature (walking, hiking, camping)
- write and sing
- learn the guitar
- practice my French
- cook and bake healthy vegan recipes
- spend a social evening at my dorm
- be with friends
- study and read
- be creative, make collages etc.
- go on trips, travel
I think these are some good things to know about me, everything else I hope we'll find out in person!Interests

I am always eager to learn new things and I believe the best way to learn about another country is to also learn its language or at least attempt to learn it.
