Hi there!
We are Chiara (22, from Paris) and Merry (23, from Switzerland), two friends who met during our university exchange semester in Melbourne. We arrived in Australia in February and instantly connected through our shared curiosity, love for travel, and enthusiasm for meeting new people.
Now that our semester is over, we are traveling around Australia — but not just to explore! We’re also eager to take meaningful breaks along the way by joining local families and experiencing life through cultural exchange.
We are both open-minded, responsible, and motivated. We’d be happy to help with a variety of tasks: childcare, cooking, cleaning, gardening, or anything else you might need support with. We enjoy learning new skills and adapting to different routines and environments.
In our free time, we love sharing meals, chatting, playing games, going for walks, or simply spending quality time together. Chiara enjoys photography, journaling, and cooking (especially French and Italian food), while Merry loves being outdoors, hiking, and is passionate about sustainability and simple living.
We both speak English fluently and are always excited to meet new people, hear new stories, and contribute positively to a home.

We’re both very sociable and love spending time with others — whether it’s over a shared meal, a walk in nature, or a board game night! We enjoy games like Uno, and card games in general.
Merry loves cooking (especially European and Chinese dishes!) and doing creative activities like photography and journaling. Chiara enjoys spending time outdoors, playing with kids and taking care of animals.
