Description
Hello, my name is Charlotte and I am 26-years old.
I grew up in America, but I am also half-French with an EU passport.
My curiosity for new experiences, paired with the desire to grow and expand my horizons within different multicultural contexts, has guided me down this path of volunteering exchange.
I find a true sense of purpose and meaning in contribution, collaboration, and connection with others. I value a shared sense of community, but I also like little moments of alone time to recharge.
I am naturally very detail-oriented, which can be helpful in any meticulous tasks or projects.
I am especially drawn to experiences that are connected to the earth, food, children, home life, animals (I love cats). I am an intuitive, caring, and kind person . . . with a good sense of humor and an appreciation for artistic expressions (music, yoga, dance, etc.). I am also quite intrigued by philosophy, psychology, sociology, and astrology.
I believe the little things in life (a meaningful moment, a shared experience, quality time, a dedicated project, etc.) offer us much more than excessive material abundance.
My goal in our exchange is to remain as helpful, flexible, balanced, transparent, and honest as I can in any and all pursuits. I am also very open to, and grateful for, mentorship & guidance in different areas of work. I would be particularly interested in expanding my skills in the area of hospitality.

* I have a lot of experience in professional cleaning and organizing (individually & with a company).
These skills come very naturally to me as a daily passion, full-time hobby, and gift I bring with me
everywhere I go.
* I have some past experience in the food & dining industry
I have worked as a host, barista, dishwasher, & assistant chef (briefly).
* I have some more limited knowledge and experience with gardening, weeding, and harvesting.
I'm really hoping to expand on this!
* Lastly, I am also open to work opportunities involving manual labor

What else ...
(1) I am a dual French-American citizen with a FRENCH PASSPORT.
It is possible for me to work in the EU longer-term, without needing a work visa.
(2) I do my best to implement a healthy lifestyle, and that sometimes applies to food.
In general, I try my best to stay away from anything that's too highly processed (i.e. unnatural additives, pesticides, etc).
(3) You will usually find something in better condition than when you left it.
I am very organized and tidy in general. I really enjoy cleaning.
