Description
*currently living on the border between Ontario and Québec*
Hey, I‘m Charlotte, 19 years old, and I’m from Berlin in Germany. Since November 2025 I'm in Canada until mid of July 2026.
Currently I'm staying with a host in Ontario close to Québec.
I always knew, I wanted to gain some experience and memories when I finished school, but my initial interest in Canada was sparked by the country’s nature and ice hockey, even though I still struggle with the rules haha.
Being outside, reading, dancing, singing and especially horses are things that make me genuinely happy. I love working with my hands or any creative way as well as physical tasks and labour.

More details about your skills
During the last years, I helped out in horse stables a lot. I did the feeding, grooming, mucked out the stables a lot, brought the horses to the paddocks and meadows and assisted with cleaning the equipment and lunging the horses sometimes.
Besides that, I was babysitting at a family with two boys and at a family with three girls back home.
Also, I walked a dog a few times a week.
Another job I did the last year was receptionist at a children’s practice, so I’m generally good with, and interested in helping people.
My job in the Olympia Stadium taught me how to work at a food truck and draw beer. I also worked in the VIP lounge for a short time and did a workshop for that, hence I know how to place tablecloths correctly.
Generally, I like working with animals and spending time with them, especially horses, cats and dogs . I want to study veterinary medicine next year.
All in all, I’d like to learn some new skills, I like being creative, being outside and working with my hands.
Age
19

What else ...
I love horses and started riding from a young age, but I never got to go regularly, since I’m from Berlin. Despite that I always helped in the stables and tried to lern as much as possible. Also I want to become a physiotherapist, chiropractor and osteopath for animals.
I can be very passionate about books and read a lot, but series, movies or TV have never been a main interest.
On top of that, I love being creative and learning to create things myself .
Also, I love singing and dancing and ride my bicycle wherever I go, though that’s not really possible with the distances in Canada, I think.
Lastly, I really enjoy baking, especially bread, cooking too, but I’m not as experienced at the latter.
If you're not accepting of the LGBTQIA Community, it won't be a good fit.

I had a wonderful time staying with you!
During my time with you, you went out of your way to include me, I loved our meals and cooking together as well as the playing games with you. I got to see the beautiful nature on the Sunshine Coast, and some wonderful musicians live.
