Description
Hello! My name is Cassie and I am currently living as a digital nomad working as a freelance graphic designer. In the upcoming months I would like to take some time off from staring at my computer screen during the day, and instead working on more fulfilling projects, like caring for animals, working on a farm, or doing more hands-on creative work :)

IN GENERAL:
I am a very positive and passionate person who loves to learn. I take criticism very well with empathy and compassion, and am constantly wanting to improve my skills. I love adventure and trying new things, and am very open and flexible. I am a social person who loves to joke around and have fun, but at the same time I am very in tune with my introverted side and love having deep and meaningful conversations.
ANIMALS:
I am extremely passionate about animals and would love to help out in this area. I have several years experience working with dogs in various industries, and I grew up with a dog as well. I feel very comfortable and confident with all kinds of animals (bugs included). I'd love to speak more about this if you have more questions!
DESIGN / CREATIVE WORK:
I graduated university with a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts - Industrial Design. With my hands-on major, I was often in the wood-working shop either building furniture, welding metals, or building life-size models. Since then I have been working as a Graphic Designer and Art Director and have experience in Branding, Data Visualization, Illustration, layout design, and more. I feel I am overall a creative person (I also make music, sing, make macramé, and love to dance), so I am open to any creative help you may need.
FARMING / GARDENING:
This is an area that I don't have much experience in, but have high interest in. My goal is to eventually live fully off-grid and be able to grow my own food. In order to feel closer to this goal, I would love to learn more about gardening and farming. For the last 9 years of my life, I have been working as a Graphic Designer for a Sustainability company, so I am very familiar with this industry, but have little hands-on experience with it.
