Hello Future Workaway hosts,

We are Will and Casey, a couple in our mid 30’s currently driving our 4X4 around Australia. We uprooted from Melbourne in Dec last year and have been heading west. We’re on the trip of a lifetime and on the way are hoping to find where it is we might like to bunker down for the next while.

About us; We’re both the outdoors type, we love anything where we can explore and soak up all the wonderful things nature can offer. We enjoy being active, meeting new people and eating good food. We both love getting our hands dirty whether it be in the kitchen, the garden, on the tools, out on the water fishing or spending time with animals. We’re both seasoned travellers, between us we’ve done stints living in New Zealand, England, Europe, Canada and Cambodia. Casey is also very familiar with Workaway, having had a positive experience using the platform travelling Europe.

A bit about us individually; Will is a qualified environmental scientist and has most recently been working as an environmental consultant. Will loves all things leafy and has a keen interest in native plants and sustainability. He also worked many years in hospitality and is an exceptional conversationalist. Casey has a background in Occupational Therapy and has worked almost 10 years in the public mental health service. She loves all things furry, thrives in the kitchen and has been trying to learn guitar over the last few years.

What we’ll bring to you; we like to think of ourselves as positive, kind, friendly life loving folk. We’re reliable and respectful, and will do our very best to meet all your expectations. We’re flexible, adaptable and hard working. We’re keen to share stories, knowledge and skills, learn as well as teach.
