I’m Caroline from Germany, I’m 27 years old, and I can’t wait to spend an amazing time as your Workawayer!

I’ve always been someone who loves to get my hands dirty – whether it's in the kitchen, in my mom's garden, or with art and DIY projects. I find joy in creating things with my hands, and there’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing a project come together.

Growing up surrounded by cats, and often taking care of the dogs in my family, I’ve always had a special bond with animals. Whenever I meet a cute animal – whether it's a dog, cat, cow, sheep, or pig – there’s always a big smile on my face.

When I’m not getting creative or cuddling animals, you can often find me outdoors. Hiking is one of my favorite ways to disconnect and explore the beauty of nature. I love discovering new trails and taking time to appreciate the quiet moments in nature. I also enjoy dancing with my local dance group. It’s a great way to stay active, meet my friends, and just have fun. I’m always open to learning new things and staying engaged with the world around me, which is one of the reasons I’m so excited about the idea of joining Workaway.

Professionally, I have a background in Media Communication and have worked in online marketing for over five years. While studying, I worked at Subway, where I learned a lot about teamwork, customer service, and staying focused in fast-paced environments. These experiences have taught me how to communicate effectively, adapt quickly, and contribute positively to any project I’m involved in.

What excites me most about Workaway is the chance to step outside my comfort zone, learn about sustainable living, farm life, and work closely with animals, plants, and people.

For me, Workaway is more than just a way to travel – it’s about connecting with people, sharing knowledge, and gaining experiences that will stay with me for a lifetime.

I love playing board games, card games, and any other social games that bring people together. In my free time, I enjoy expressing myself through painting and macrame, or staying active with jogging. I’m also passionate about indie pop and rock music and enjoy the occasional trip to the theater.

Having traveled through many European countries like Austria, Spain, and Italy, I’ve developed a broad cultural awareness. I’m also skilled at organizing and managing tasks, whether it's planning a trip or coordinating a project.
