Description
I am 23 years old and have now been travelling in Latin America for a year from Mexico down through all the countries to Colombia and have just arrived in Argentina. Travelling for me has been the most fulfilling experience of my life. I love learning about new cultures, history, different people's way of life, tasting different global cuisines and sharing stories and experiences with like-minded other travellers. Travel motivates me to continue learning more about the world and the people that inhabit it and satisfies my curiosity to always discover new things. I am at my happiest sharing time with good people and surrounded by nature.

I speak a basic level of Spanish. I am able to communicate my needs comfortable, and engage in conversations to a limited extent where I know the context. I would like to build my confidence whilst speaking Spanish, broaden my vocabulary and speak with more fluency in order to be able connect more with local people on my trip. Learning and improving my Spanish has now become a main goal of my travel in Latin America. I am a native English speaker so am happy to help teach English and engage in a language exchange of sorts. I also speak fluent Swedish as I am 1/2 Swedish.

I am an adaptable person and am able to thrive in a range of different environments.
I have experience in hospitality working in an up-scale restaurant. For this I had to be very detail-orientated, service-minded and friendly, work well under pressure and develop leadership skills to manage the younger waiting staff.
I have volunteered on reception at a hostel in Colombia for 4 months so I am very familiar with using online booking systems and working closely with guests to enhance customer experience.
I grew up riding horses so I have a lot of experience with animal care and riding. My first job was working at my stables cleaning after the horses. I am not afraid of hard physical work and enjoy to be challenged in whatever work I do. I would enjoy working with animals, particularly horses where I would hopefully be able to integrate my hobby of riding into my work-away.
I also have a lot of experience with childcare having babysat children from age 1-12 years old, and would enjoy work which involved helping a family too.
