Hi, I'm Karolina and I am looking for animal and nature related work. The experience I've had volunteering so far involves mainly working with animals, especially cats.

I am quite fit and used to spending a lot of time outdoors. I do quite a lot of hiking.

As my future workaway experience I would love to learn more about permaculture and eco-villages, or just generally about cultivating plants.

I'm interested in Eastern philosophy and spirituality, I love art, I draw and paint a little, and I would like to learn new crafts.

I am open-minded to learning new things, meeting different people and new points of view.

I used to work as an English language tutor for a couple of years, so I'm fluent and have good communication skills. I also have experience working in tourism.

Regarding workaway I've had 2 amazing experiences so far:
1. A small family farm in Czech Republic - feeding the animals, cleaning, helping in the vegetable garden, general house maintenance
2. Cat Rescue in Greece (5 months stay) - feeding the cats, giving medication, cleaning, general maintenance, work in an international team

Apart from that I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter in my city (taking care of cats and dogs) and helping at my own family's farm, mainly harvesting fruit and vegetables. I've also had a short experience of harvesting olives in Greece. Apart from that I have done some cleaning jobs.

I am well-organised, honest and I self-reliant.
